A lacy shrug over a crisp white cotton blouse, a floral pearly corsage, a pair of lace-trimmed drawers, a Liberty lawn flowery dress in my Cottage Garden print with a braided hem and a little embroidered belt – all these lovely details add to Rosalie's charm and enhance her sweet beauty. Her long silvery plait is held in place with a twisted leafy band dotted with pearls, and her neat black boots complete the picture.
One of four new art dolls – Saskia, Juanita, Agnes and Rosalie - dressed in their Liberty best! They're all wearing fabrics based on our classic 1974 Liberty design Cottage Garden. This pattern has been newly printed on both silk, Spring Cottage and tana lawn, Cottage Garden in celebration of Liberty's 150th anniversary, and to coincide with the Women in Print exhibition at The William Morris Gallery.
Rosalie will arrive in her own cotton travel bag, trimmed with an appliquéd Liberty patchwork heart.
